Lawrence Lester "Les" Jones
01/15/1928 - 01/23/2012    Lawrence Lester (Les) Jones, 84, of Duncannon passed away Monday, January 23, 2012. He was born in Mountain, West Virginia to Luther and Myrtle Jones, the youngest of 13 children.
He was preceded in death by five sisters and six brothers. He is survived by his wife Norma (Albright) Jones, daughter Cindy (Jones)Brookhart and husband Bill, granddaughter Danielle Brookhart, Mechanicsburg, grandson Will Brookhart, Philadelphia and brother Howard Jones of Baltimore, MD.
He served in the United States Navy aboard the F.D.R. carrier, was retired from the former New Cumberland Army Depot, a member of Christ Lutheran Church and the Duncannon Sportsmen's Association. He loved his family deeply and was loved just as deeply in return. He will be missed forever.

There will be no viewing or visitation. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 11 AM at the Duncannon Cemetary. A luncheon will be held immediately after the service at Christ Lutheran Church in Duncannon.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 115 Church Street, Duncannon PA 17020.
