During the loss of a loved one we
go through many stages of grieving from disbelief to final resolution. It is
the mission of the Hetrick Funeral Home to support families through the process.
The funeral service is a process in which the family and community
recognize that a life has been lived. Grief shared is grief relieved. Our
mission at the time of need is to fulfill your individual needs for a meaningful
funeral or memorial service. We will first gather information for both legal
documents, such as death certificates, and for the obituary and memorial
folders. The funeral home will coordinate with hospital, clergy, newspaper,
cemetery and government agencies.
After the funeral is over there is still a need for support services
we call the Aftercare. The family should make an appointment through Ivy Lair
for a Post Service Interview (PSI). During the PSI we go through a form, which
will assess your needs in several areas:
Social Security Notification
Veteran's benefit Claim forms
Notification of Federal and State Retirement Boards
Secretarial and Letter Writing Services
Notary Service, Copy and Faxing Services
Financial and Estate Planning
