Marie A. Ellenberger
Marie A. Ellenberger of Lower Paxton Township, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2010 in Golden Living Retirement Center, East Pennsboro Township.
She was the daughter of the late Peter and Marie (Prayer) Ivkovic.
Marie was a graduate of the Steelton High School Class of 1939, she was retired from the Commonwealth of PA Department of Transportation as a clerk, a member of the United Church of God, Churches of God Women Ministry, a Sunday school teacher for 70 years, and a El Shaddai Singer in the past.
She was the widow of Harold Arthur Ellenberger. She was predeceased by her daughter Nina Louise Ellenberger.
Marie is survived by her daughter: Donna Marie E. Heverling of Findlay, OH and a cousin: Marie E. DeFrank of Lower Paxton Township.
Services will be held at the United Church of God, 1211 Fairmont Dr., Harrisburg, PA on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 11am, with Rev. Mark S. Shory officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg, PA.
Viewings will be from 6pm until 8pm on Friday, July 16, 2010 in the Hetrick-Bitner Funeral Home, 3125 Walnut St., Susquehanna Township and from 10am until 11am on Saturday, July 17, 2010 in United Church of God.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Marie's honor can be made to United Church of God, 1211 Fairmont Dr., Harrisburg, PA 17112 or to a charity of your choice in her honor.
