Henry H. Wolfe, Jr.,
Henry H. Wolfe, Jr., 92, of Grantville, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2010 in the Community General Osteopathic Hospital. He was born on July 5, 1917 in Lemoyne, to the late Henry H., Sr. and Anna M. (Brubacher) Wolfe. He was a graduate of Lemoyne High School and a United States Army Veteran of WW II. Henry was a retired auto mechanic, having worked for Camplese & Son in Penbrook and Hartman Toyota. He was also a former Police Officer for the Penbrook Police Dept. He attended Faith United Church of Christ, Grantville, was a member of and Past Commander of Penbrook VFW Post #1718, a Past Governor of the Steelton Moose Lodge #382, a member of Penbrook Fire Co., Lebanon Orioles Home Assoc., Lebanon Fraternal Order of Eagles # 472 and the Lebanon Moose. He was the widower of Esther E. (Kohler) Wolfe. Surviving are a daughter Shirley A. Smith of Grantville, 2 sons; Jack H. Wolfe of Camp Hill, Larry R. Wolfe of Middletown, 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12pm (Noon) on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 in the Hetrick-Bitner Funeral Home, 3125 Walnut St. Susquehanna Township. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Township. Viewing will be from 11am unitl 12pm (Noon) on Wednesday in the funeral home.
