Charles W. Hirsch Charles W. Hirsch, 89, of Susquehanna Township, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2010 at home.
He was born on January 18, 1921 in Syracuse, NY to the late Milton and Pauline (Rosenthal) Hirsch.
He was a United States Navy Veteran of WW II and was retired from United Restaurant Equipment as a restaurant equipment salesman.
He had served on the board of the Jewish Community Center as the Health club Chairman.
Charles was a generous, kind, loving man, who adored his family beyond belief.
Surviving are his wife Lila F. (Spero) Hirsch, 2 sons: Randall C. Hirsch and his wife Pamela J. of Dillsburg, Howard K. Hirsch and his wife Melinda C. of Harrisburg, 7 grandchilden: Michael Hirsch, Syndi Hirsch, Jennifer Hamelin, Scott Senseman, Marcus Hirsch, Keely Hirsch, Marlee Hirsch, and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Paul M. Hirsch and a sister Mary J. Spangenthal.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Sunday, July 18, 2010 in the Bookstaber Chapel of Mount Moriah Cemetery, with Rabbi Peter Kessler officiating. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
